Specifications, bid submittal sheet and sample contract may <br />be obtained at the office of .Planning and Community <br />Development, 2731 Wetmore Avenue, 3rd Level, <br />Everett, Washington 98201. <br />2. All asbestos in the building shall be removed and disposed <br />of by a State licensed asbestos contractor in accordance <br />with all State and Federal regulations, and provisions of <br />the sample contract. <br />3 <br />4. <br />BID OPENING: <br />A 100% performance bond is required for contracts in excess <br />of $25,000 (Twenty-five [housand dollars). <br />Insurance showing the City of Everett named as an additional <br />insured shall be required. <br />All bids must be submitted to the City Clerk, City Hall, 3002 Wetmore Avenue, <br />Everett, Washington 98201 no later than 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 9, 1991, and <br />must be clearly marked "SID FOR DE.yOLITION OF 3919 HIGH STREET." At the <br />appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud in the presence of the <br />bidders or their representatives at an administrative opening in the Office of <br />the City Clerk, City Hall, Everett, Washington. <br />Only firm bids will be accepted, and the City reseives the right to reject any <br />or all bids or waive any irregularities and informalities in the bids <br />submitted and accepted by the City. No bidder may ;+ithdraw his bid after the <br />hour set for the opening thereof, unless the .award is delayed for a period <br />exceeding 30 days.
