APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY AND CLEARANCE . <br />FOR <br />CONNECTION OF UTILITIES <br />� DATE j- (� �'�G <br />To: Department of Community Development <br />Inspection Divis;on <br />City of Everett <br />Everett, Washington <br />Gentlemen: <br />It is hereby respectfully requested that pursuant to Section 306(d) <br />of the Uniform Building Code of the City of Everett, a temporary <br />Certificate of Occupancy and clearance for connection of gas and/or <br />electricat utilities be granted at this l-ime which is prior to the <br />issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy and before final inspection <br />for the building or buildings under construction at the following <br />address or addresses: <br />�ItG h�G�vL4NU .�I��' '�rrr- <br />In consideration of the granting.of the above elearance, and temporary <br />Certificate of Occupancy, the undersigned hereby waices any cause of <br />action against either the City of Everett or any of its officers and <br />employees because of any defect in the construction or installation <br />of gas or electrical equipment, or for any other defect in construction <br />of the above mentioned building or buildinqs, or for any connection <br />to or disconnection from any utilities which may cause damage whatso- <br />ever to the premises, any other premises, or any person, persons, and <br />the undersigned further aaree to hold the City of Everett, or any of. <br />its officers and employees harmless from any iiability caused by such <br />temporary clearance or temporary Certificate of'Occupancy. <br />The undersigned further convenant and agree to have the above building <br />or buildings, together with required off street parking areas aad <br />landscaping, complete and in compli.ance with all building codes, ord`.n- <br />ances, and regulations and ready for final inspection within 30 days <br />after the granting of the temporary clearance requested herein, aad <br />further covenant that if a Certificate of Final Occupancy is not <br />granted within 30 days after the granting of the temporary clearac�ce <br />and temporary Certificate of Occupancy requested herein, the undersigned <br />shall forthwith vacate the buildings, and premises and discoiinect the <br />uti.lities for which a temporary clearance was granted and likewise <br />waire any action tliey may have against the City of Everett, or its <br />officials and employees and hold them harmless from any liability <br />which may arise therefrom. <br />Respectfully submitted by: � __ � . �� ��,,�� <br />Owner <br />�-� ...c <br />General Contractor <br />Sub-Contractor <br />
