WASHINGTON <br />SUBJECT: 2401 HIGHLAND 932O1 <br />Dear Mr. Schnelz: <br />You requested a re -inspection of the structure located at 2401 Highland <br />Avenue, Everett, Washington, for compliance with the minimum require- <br />ments of the Uniform Housing Code. <br />The structure was originally inspected in December 1984 at which time <br />several defects were noted. A report of defects noted and information <br />pertaining to building permits and inspections was submitted to the <br />owner of the property. <br />During the inspection you requested on August 21, 1985, it was noted <br />that the entire structure had been renovated and the work had included <br />electrical, plumbing and structural systems of the structure. <br />It is required by law that permits be issued and inspections conducted <br />for the work done on the structure. <br />A certification for compliance of the Uniform Housing Code cannot be <br />issued under these circumstances. <br />It is recommended that you contact the City of Everett Building Official, <br />Larry Callahan, at 259-8745 to obtain information on how this matter <br />may be resolved. <br />Yours truly, <br />ALFRED R.
