27. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) System (Existing and New Building)* - An approved automatic <br />suppression system shall be provided as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, <br />of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department and the Everett Fire <br />Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground <br />mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br />Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard 13. <br />Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 <br />for private fire mains. All such tests shall be witnessed by a Fire Department inspector. Call (425) <br />257-8123 to make an appointment for inspection. <br />Co.ttractors' materials arnw test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Department prior <br />to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br />Call (425) 257-8123 for more information. <br />*The canopy must be sprinklered if it is utilized for any purpose other than <br />non-eombusot storage. <br />28. Fire Safety - Fire safety practices during construction shall be in compliance with Article 87 of the <br />Uniform Fire Code. <br />29.
