An <br />isolation vah�e will be installed in the outlet piping from the spill containment vault during the <br />proposed above ground storage tank installation. The valve control shall be a sub-sruface hand <br />tumed vah�ewheel. 'I'he lid of the valve control box shall be brighdy colored to allow for easy <br />identification. The lid of thc oil water separator box is designed to vent vapors to the <br />atmosphere and is wnstructed of non-sparking material. <br />Signs indicating the location and purpose of the vah�e shall be posted at the fueling island and at <br />the control building. The vah�e lid will be desiganed to vent vapors to the atmosphere and shall <br />be constructed of non-sparking material. The pavement around the vault lid will be graded to <br />prevent the collection of'stormwater from adjacent areas. <br />Spil�s are prevented ���hene��er possible at the Nelson Petrolcum facilities. Concrete filled, stccl <br />pi�,c posts surround the fueling area that prevent vehicles from striking the gasoline pumps. <br />TJelson Petroleutn has an emergency spill cleanup plan in place (per I3MP SI. 80) and has <br />��������at�� responsible persons available cither on site or on call at all times. Suitable cleanup <br />�.. <br />materials are be mnintained on site to allow prompt deanup should a spill occur. A 55-gallon <br />drum f'ull ol' absorbent matcrial is stored in the wntrol building at the site. ln addition, one <br />cmpq� 55 gallon drum is availaUle at the site for disposal of used absorbent material. Instructions <br />on responding to an accidental spill arc availablc co all etnployees and is �wsted in the control <br />huildine. <br />yz <br />
