All references refer to the 1988 Uniform Buildmg Code and/or Washington Sfate Energy Code unless stated otherwise. 1. Plans do not show insulation levels required by the energy calculadons that were submitted with your plans. Drawings shall reflect any add�Uonal construction required to comply with the Energy Code. Ceilings aze required to be insulated to R-30, walls are required to be insulated to R-21. 2. Rigid insulation at the exterior shall extend from the top of the footing to the top of the concrete stem wall. The insuladon used shall be approved for below grade use. 3. The plans show an opening into the existing residence adjacent to the new entrance to the second living space, the party wall detail indicates that the floor level of the existing residence is somewhat higher than the floor level in the altered space, show in the plans what conditions exist, i.e., stairs, door location and direction of swmg. 4. Smoke detector(s) shall be installed in the exisdng residence per Section 1210 Uniform Building Code 1988 ed. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be neceesary to provide the Building Department with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. Upon re-submittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review recommence. All required submittals shall be of sufficient detail and� contain sufficient information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
