W/.6HII:GTOn <br />ea¢oi <br />Cny Anorney <br />The City of Everett Building Official has issued an order requiring the owners of <br />the property located at 6719 Highland to vacate the premises and to either <br />demolish the structure or make the necessary repairs which would bring the <br />structure into compliance with the City's codes. To date, the requested action has <br />not been taken. <br />In accordance with the requirements of the Uniform Housing Code and the Uniform <br />Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, the Buiiding Officiai will be <br />presenting a resolution to the Everett City Council at the November 14, 1984, <br />meetir� which starts at 8:30 a.m. in Everett City Hall. 'Ifie Building Officisl will <br />be asking the City Council to authorize the City to have the structure de molished. <br />The costs of demolition will be assessed as a lien against the property. <br />Naturally, the City is concerned about Dan Robbins' relocation. The City tias <br />attempted to worh with y�u on this issue. Hopefully i� light of the proposed action <br />by the City you have been able to find suitable housing for him or will find such <br />housing prior to such time as the City is required to demolish the structure. <br />The City encourages you to attend the meeting on the 14th of Nove mber and to <br />address Counci] with your comments or concerns.
