There is a lack of weather protection for exterior wall coverings. <br />S. There is lack of protection from the elements. <br />II. The City of Everett Duilding Official has found tlie building which is <br />located on the above described property to be dangerous. The <br />following c�nditions render the building dangerous pursuant to <br />Section 302 of the 1979 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />Buildings: <br />1. Tlie building is unsafe to occupy for habitable purposes. <br />2. The building is being maintained in violation of specific require- <br />ments applicable to such buildings provided by the building regu- <br />lations of this city, as specified by the Housing Code. <br />3. [3ecause of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, decay, damage, <br />inadequate sanitation facilities, the dwelling is unfit for <br />human habitation. <br />4. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public <br />nuisance known to common law and in equity jurisprudence. <br />III. The building shall either be repaired in accordance �aith the current <br />Quilding Code or shall be demolished. <br />IV. Since the buildiny is presently uninhabitable in its present condition, <br />it shall be vacated within 30 days from the date of this Order and <br />thereupon remain vacant until such time as the building is repaired <br />in accordance with the current Uniform 13uilding Code or demolished. <br />V. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance �aith the <br />current duilding Code, all permits must be secured therefor and the <br />work physically commenced �aithin 30 days of the date of this Order. <br />All such work must be completed in compliance with the Ruilding Code <br />within 90 days of the date of this Order. <br />VI. If the owners elect to demolish the building, all required permits <br />must be secured therefor within 60 days from the date of this Order. <br />Such demolition must be completed within 90 days of the date of this <br />Order. <br />VII. If the required repair or demolition is not commenced within the time <br />set forth in Paragraphs V and VI, the 6uilding Official will order <br />the building to remain vacated and proceed to cause the building to <br />be demolished and charge the costs thereof against the property or <br />its owners. <br />III. Any �>erson having any record title or interest in the building may <br />appeal from this Notice and Order to the Housing Advisory and Appeals <br />Board. Such appeal must be in writing as is required by the Uniform <br />Housing Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />Quildings, and filed with the f3uilding Official within 30 days from <br />the date of service of this Notice and Order.
