The Uniform Biulding Code provides <br />that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the pertnit is suspended or <br />abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent <br />the permits from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please provide the permit number when requesting inspections or extension�. Please respond <br />within 10 days. After thai time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming <br />without final approval.
