�vere `� To: File � From: Marian Dent /!L � Date: Sept2mber 10, 1985 Subject: 5607 Highland Road On September 6, 1985 I received a phone call from Steward Aldcroft regarding Mr. Angel working on vehicles at his residence situated at 5607 Highland Road. I told Stewart I would go right out and see what was happening and talk with Mr. Angel. Upon my arrival at 5607 Highland I saw Mr. Angel working on a 1969 Chevrolet. There was a Dodge van in the garage, a 1968 Dodge car in the street, a 1955 Chevrelet pickup in the driveway and one other vehicle parked in the driveway. I talked with Mr. Angel and he told me that he owned all of the vehicles at his residence. I asked him if he was buying vehicles for resale after he worked on them. He indicated that he wanted to sell the 1968 Dodge and had purchased the 1969 Chev prior to selling Lhe Dodge to make sure he had a good running vehicle prior to selling the Dodge. He said that all the vehicles there were for his private use and he was not in the business of purchasing vehicles for resale. Mr. Angel was very upset and felt that he was being harassed by his neighbors and the city. He indicated that he was building up a case to sue the city and his neighbors if the harassment continued. My inspection did not reveal any violations. I processed the vehicles for registration and all the vehicles are registered to Mr. Angel or his wife. The 1969 Chev did not come back as being registered to Mr. Angel. He told me that he just registered the vehicle on 9/3/85. Mr. Angel has his house up for sale because of the harassment he and his family receive from the neighbors. He informed me of this as I was leaving. cc: Mayor Moore
