Eckstrom <br />and unanimously carried to grant the applicant's reauest as it <br />meets all the reouirements of Section 1.9.70.060 of the Everett <br />Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing caas held on the aoplication of 14inne1l Stuestall, <br />5723 Highland Road, Everett, S4ashington 98203, for a variance <br />from Section 19.14.050 of the Everett fdunicipal Code, Yard <br />Requirements, Paragraph A, for perr.iission to construct a car- <br />port and be able to build to within fif.teen (15) feet of. the <br />front property line rather than the code rea,uirement of twenty (20) <br />feet. <br />Legal Description: Lot 10, Plat of Highland I'arms <br />Address: 5723 Highland Road <br />Zoning: R-1 Single Family Low Density Residential <br />Mr. Stuestall represented himself and had no further comment. <br />The Board then asked Dir. Stuestall if he �oas sure of his front <br />property line stakes. The P.U.D. poles are inside his Prie�had <br />property lines. The Board also felt that not enough peop <br />been notified within �he required three hundred (300) feet of the <br />property. <br />PIr. ��ayne Blakely then spoke in behalf of Mr. Stuestall and made <br />the following statenents: <br />1. A corner property line stake oras found, so the proposed <br />carport �,ould not be constructed on the front property <br />line. <br />2, He felt enough people had been notified within the <br />three hundred (300) foot requirement. <br />3. Traci: A, across the road, is owned by the City of �verett. <br />4. At one tir�e there was a garage attached to the house; <br />it is now a recreation room and work shop. <br />There �aas no further comment from the audience. <br />
