i <br />M1 <br />it <br />„M1 <br />i., <br />November 12, 1980 <br />'I <br />Moved by Councilman Michelson, seconded by Councilman Langus, to approve <br />the changes, as amended, to the R-5 section of the Zoning Code. <br />Roll'iWas called with all Councilmen voting yes, except Councilmen 7 Aldcro <br />and Eope, who were excused. <br />Motion Carried <br />Presidont Overstreet then asked for questions and comments on the propos <br />changes to the B-3 section of the Zoning Code. <br />if <br />Councilman Langus asked about Larking for the residents and Mr. Derickso <br />said off-street parking had been addressed in Section <br />Councilman Baker felt there should be an amendment to Section 12.B.1. <br />to all, 1w for residential use in 50% of the gross floor area in buildings <br />in excss of 10 stories,possibly the upper stories being residential uni <br />it <br />Mayor Moore felt contractors could possibly wish to make use of the top <br />floorsi;as prime office space and Councilman Baker concurred. <br />President Overstreet then stated that consideration of the B-3 changes <br />would be continued on the agenda for next week. <br />CHANGE ORDER - (CB 8011-465) <br />Moved by Councilman Baker, seconded by Councilman Gipson, to approve <br />-Change Order 12 in the amount of $6,800.00 to Universal Utility Contract <br />Inc..for Sanitary Sewer System Improvements "1S2". <br />Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes, except Councilmen Aldcro <br />and Pope, who were excused. <br />Motion Carried <br />VX`RESOLUTION - (CB 8011-4G6) <br />Marian Dent, Houbing Inspector, reported that an application for a movi <br />permit had been received this morning. The application stated the strut <br />in question located at 5711 Highway Place would be moved by November 23r <br />She recommended that the proposed resolution be approved with the adtliti <br />of a 15-30 day abeyance clause in the event the structure is not moved b <br />this date. <br />Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Michelson, to adopt <br />Resolution 1862 as amended to include a demolition date on or after Decec, <br />ber , as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing the Building official to have <br />the building located at 5711 Highway Place demolished. <br />WHEREAS, the building at 5711 Highway Place has been moved off its <br />foundation and has been placed on timbers on the City's right of way; an. <br />WHEREAS, the building, as it is presently positioned, is a hazard to <br />pedestrian and vehicular traffic on Highway Place; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of the residence and the property have refused to <br />remove the building from the property or from the City's right of way; a: <br />
