An inspection was made and approval for rel,u:,tion given. There were no permits issued for moving the huil.ling, bnt it was taken from its foundation and set up in preparation for the move. This was done in May of 1979. Because of the p.tl.D. strike in i9a the relocation of the structure had to be aborted and it remains in the same location today as it did in May 1979. The structure has not since that time due to legalities involving been moved owncrshi_ 1'11e structure as it sits now extends into the City right-of-way. Highway Place is a very narrow street with just enough room for two vehicles to pass going in either direction. ']'his structure extends to the end of the black top street. Ilighway Place is not a through streee and serves approx. so dwelling units south of 5711, which means that approx. 80+ vehicles must pass hack and forth around this s u ucture creating hazardous traffic situation. There is also a new condo consisting of 20 units being built south of thi structure which will undoubtedly add to traffic congestion in the near future. The house has already been hit by a vehicle and if it continue to remain in its present location it will continue to be s a hazard to traffic and residents of this neighborhood. A letter has been sent to Jules VanDerMcersche pertaining to the problem hilt there has been no change. I respectfully request to submit this problem before the City Council and seek corrective action to the situation. I suggest involving all individuals who claim ownership in this structure. J 91 I J J
