M.D., M.PH. <br />ASSISTANT SECRCIAFV <br />July 14, 1972 <br />�: Pleasant Acres Nursing Home <br />5129 Hilltop Road <br />Everett, Washington <br />(Addition & Alterations) <br />rSHs ,'�72243 <br />Enclosed is a review of the preliminary dtawings received June 16� 1972. <br />It should be noted at this time that it will be necessary to obtain s <br />Certificate of Need before starting construction, as required by Substitute <br />House Bill 553. <br />These drawings have not been approved for the reasons noted in the review. <br />Please restudy and resubmit two corrected sets of preliminary drawings. <br />Review oE the above submission has been completed pursuant to Chapter WAC <br />248-14 of the Nursing Home Codified Rules, Regulations and Standards adopted <br />by the Idashinoton State Board of Health on ,farch 11, 1960, as amended. <br />Section H�AC 248-14-100 of the Codified Rules requires tha[ drac,ings shall <br />be approved before construction be�ins and such plans and specifications be <br />used as construction contract docu�ents. Further, RCtd 18.51.030 of the Nursing <br />Home Law requires the addition to be licensed before ciients are admitted <br />for any purposes. <br />The review findings are divided into four parts: <br />Part A: Additional Information and/or �taterial Needed for Review Purposes <br />Part B; Listing of Design FeaCures Not Dfeeting Rules, Regulations and <br />Standards <br />Part C: Recommendations <br />Review of the State Fire Marshal <br />
