These commena <br />address building issues only, addrt�onal revisions or addilions may be required by other departments <br />(such az Utilities, Planning or Fire). All referenccs refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as <br />amended by Ihe State of Washington and/or Washingron State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Edition, unlcss <br />stated otherwise. <br />L Show how deck joists connect to existing structure. <br />2. Provide dimensions at garage endwalls at garage door. Provide minimum lateral restraint panel <br />per enclosed detail. Header at garage door should be continuous for the entire length of this <br />wall. <br />3. Provide 5/8" Type 'X' GWB on garage wall common to house. Provide 1-3/8" solid core wood <br />door with self-closer if a door is present betwcen house and garage. <br />4. Unless rao(s are sloped to drain over roof edges, roo( drains shall be installed at each low point <br />of the roo(. Show how roof is drained. <br />5. Provide detail at inside bottom of guardrail-show all components, i.e. plywood, top plate, bottom <br />plate, stud size and spacing, ete. <br />6.
