Grand, Everett, WA � i Dear Mr. Johnson: Your letter of September 22, 1977, was forxarded to me by Mr. Mekean, to whom you sent it. I represent Dr. and Mra. Ronald I. Forbes , who took title to this property from Home Care , Inc, on August 17, 1977. They have not been aware of the proceedings by the City of Everett to have the build- ing demolished and, since receiving title to it , have had no `� chance to evaluate what to do with the structure. It will take the present owners a few weeks to evaluate the property and determine what can be done with the building strueture on it. I am asking, therefore, that the City Council defer awarding the bid for demolition of the build- ing for at least three weeks, that is until October 26, 1977, to give the new owners a chance to determine r+hat is best for them to do. Dr. Forbes would make the effort to be at the Council meeting if that were necessary, but siace he has not had a chance to determine what is best to do with the property, 1 he could not :•e very informative to the Council. I am hopeful this letter will be sufficient to explain the intent cf the new owners of the property. I wiil call you after you have had a chance to receive this letter to confirm how to proceed.
