The applicant must obtain building permits as required <br /> by the Building Departr�ent. <br /> The Planning Director approved the request ba�ed on the <br /> following: <br /> 1 . Section 38, 050.D. 1 of the City of Everett 2oning Code <br /> allows a single family dwelling which is nonconforming <br /> in setback to be expanded provided that the expansion <br /> does nct make the setback more nonconforming. This is <br /> subject to review process II.B. Review process II .B <br /> involves a written decision by the Planninq D�rector to <br /> " . .approve, disapprove, or approve with conclitions the <br /> use proposed by the applicant" (Section 42. 100.B) . <br /> 2. The existing dwelling has a three foo: rear setback from the <br /> east property line and a front setback of 14 feet from East <br /> Grand. The dwelling's setbac:k has been certi�ied as a <br /> nonconforming setback (See NC BldS ,�2a-93) . The �xpansion <br /> will maintain the same rear and front setback. <br /> 3 .
