Additionsf revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other depariments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2006 International Building Code,) (2006 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Gnergy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it wili be necessary to provide <br /> thc Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings retlecting the rnrrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. Provide size and reinforcing of new footings in basement. <br /> 2. Provide insulated door separating unheated basement from conditioned space. <br /> 3. The wall separating the den from Ihe stairs to the basement and the stairs over the <br /> stairs to the basement are required to be insulated to R-21 in the wall and R-30 in <br /> thc floor (stairs). R-21 batts will not fit into a 2 x 4 wall. <br /> 4. Provide 110 volt smoke alarm with battery back-up, interconnected in the <br /> basement, the existing bedroom and hallway on the main floor; show on plans. <br /> 5. Specify minimum 50 cfin exhaust fan in new bathroom. <br /> G. The plans show 2 skylights but the elevations only show one. <br /> 7. The U-valve for new windows is called out as U-0.40; Table 6-1 requires U-0.35 <br /> or less (Washington State Gnergy Code). <br /> 8. The mof framing plan shows 2 x 10 rafters. The Washington State Energy Code <br /> (WSEC) requires R-30 insulation in vaulted ceilings. R-30 is approximately 10 <br /> inches thick. <br /> 9.
