Required smoke alarms are not provided within the sleeping rooms in this apartment unit. This is a violation of <br /> section 704.2 of the IPMC. <br /> 2. Flexible cords are being used tor permanent wiring, most significantly being a flexible cord installed and being used to <br /> provide electrical power to the detached accessory building. This is a violation of section 605.4 IPMC. <br /> 3. Time dated eiectrical wiring has been installed without required permits and inspections in the common laundry area. <br /> The date on this wiring is March 1" 2011. A search of the city permit records failed to locate any permits or approvals for <br /> the installation of this wiring.This is a violation of section 108.1.4 Unlawful Structure "altered contrary to law." <br /> 4. Evidence of a Ieaking window and water damage was observed at the south bedroom window wall. 7his leaking is <br /> likely caused by the absence of proper flashing installed above the window frame. This is a violation of section 304.2 <br /> IPMC. <br /> S. Deteriorated subfloor and underlayment was observed in the bathroom floor area.7his deterioration is likely caused <br /> from water leaks that have deterioreted and rotted the ilooring. This is a violation of section 305.1 IPMC. <br /> 6. A round structurel supporting column was observed in the underfloor/common laundry area.This column has been <br /> splited at some point in the past in a manner that compromises the structural integrity of the support.This is a violation <br /> of section 305.2 IPMC. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to assist in this matter, I encourage and support emorcemznt action to correct ihese <br /> violations. <br /> Tecl (Sudden <br />
