Our report presents infortnation regarding
Ithe constvction of a new basement wall and basement floor slab for the house.
I Geo Group Northwest, Inc., visited the site on November 7, 2000. Based on observations of the
soils exposed at the bottom of footing excavations, the subsurt'ace soils typically consisted of
Idense brown sand.
Based on the results of our study, it is our professional opinion that the proposed basement wall,
Ifootings, and floor slab can be supported on the dense native sands at the site. Our conclusions
and recommendations, along with other geotechnically related aspects of the project, aze
Idiscussed in more detail in the text of the attached report.
I
1924o NE 20th Strcet,Suile 12 • Bellevuc,Washington 98005
IPhonc 425/649-8757 • FAX 425i649•8758
