The site visit and assessment wa� performed <br /> on May 30, 2003. <br /> Site and Veaetation Descrintion <br /> The subject property is located in the northwestem portion ofi the City of Everett, in an <br /> urban area currently develop.=d with single and multi-family homes. The parcel is <br /> bordered by residences to the noRh and south, Grend Avenue to the east, and railroad � <br /> tracks to the west, at the boltom of the slope. The site topography is fairly level over the <br /> eastern portion of the lot, with very steep slopes to the west. Primary access to the site <br /> is via Grand Avenue. <br /> The site has been largely cleared of vegetation. Remaining vegetation on the property <br /> consists of a single Douglas fir(Pseudofsuga menziesii) near the northwest corner of the <br /> property (at the top of bank), and several big-leaf maples (Acer macrophyllum) present <br /> on the central portion and noRh end of the steep slope area. Shrubs present include <br /> Himalayan blackberry(Rubus procerus)and snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus). <br /> Soils in the project vicinity are mapped as Aldervuood-Everett gravelly sandy loam, 25- <br /> 70% slopes and Xerorthents. level.
