Board of Adjustment
1 December 3, 1979
Page 4
5. The final construction plans have now been submitted
and accepted by the City.
6. If the variance is not granted, the building will have
to be torn down.
7. The proposed structure will be an improvement to the
area.
There were some questions and discussion from the Board directed
at D7r. Sullivan. It was apparent that if the Code requirement
for the front yard setback of twenty (20) feet was adhered to
the building would have to be demolished. Also, most of the
houses in that area are built to within eight (8) feet of the
front property line.
There was no opposition from the audience.
After visually viewing the subject property and considering all
the facts, it was moved by Mr. Hoagland, seconded by Mr. Nilson
and unanimously carried to gr.ant the variance request as it meets
all the requirements of Section 19 .70 . 060 of the Everett Dlunicipal
Code, Paragraphs 1, 2 , 3, and 4 .
On motion th meeting adjourned at 7 : 40 p.m.
,
. 1 ,
..x..._ -.. /J...G..ti.
Ren Callahan, Secretary
Boar nf Ad'ustment
,

'
