AS Dear Mr. lliody: The City of �berett received a complaint regarding apartment I15 at 2131 Grand Avenue. As a result of the complaint, an inspection was conducted and the follorring violations were noted pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code: 1. The a[tic of the building has been converted into a dwelling/unit without required building, plumbing, and electrical permits and inspectione. 2. Ceiling heights do not meet the folloWing requirements: Habitable space shall have a ceiling height of not lese than 7 feet 6 inches except kitchena, halls, bathrooms, and toilet compartmenta may have a ceiling height of not less than 7 feet measured to the lowest portion. 3. Bain water leaka through [he wall of the bedroom close [o the window. 4. There is no emergenr.y egress from sleeping rooma: "Every sleeping room beloca the forth story of the building shall have at least one operable wiudow or exteriar door approved for emergency escape and reacue. Faucets in the bathroom and kitchen leak. 9. The roof leaks in several areas and has caused damage to the living room ceiling. Ceiling tilea are falling. 9.
