As a result of the complaint, aa inspection was conducted and thc� follorting violations Here noted pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code: 1• 1he ateic of the building has been caaverted into a dwelling/unit. without required building, plumbing, and electrical permits and inspections. 2• Ceiling heights do not meet the following requirements: Habitable apace shall have a ceiling height nf not lese than 7 feet 6 inches except kitchens, t�alls, bathrooms, and toilet compartments may have a ceiling height of not less than 7 feet measured to the lowest portion. 3• Rain water leaks through the wall cf the bedroom close to the window. 4• 7'here is no emergency egresa from sleeping rooms: "Every eleeping room below the fort}i story of the building shall have at least one operable window or exterior door approved for emergency escape and rencue. The unite shall be operable from the inaide to provide a full clear opening without the use o` separate tools. 5• The bath tub drain leaks. 6• The wall around tlie bath tub ia not caulked and allocra moisture into the wall framing syatem. 7• Faucets in the bathroom and kitchen leak. 8• The roof leake in several areae and has caused damxge to the living r000 ceiling. Ceiling tiles are falling. 9• Bare electrical wires are exposed in the ceiling in the living room area.
