No liner, mortar mieaing and deteriorating condition. 2) Heeter vented improperly, in common vith open fireplace on lower floor. 3) Heater inetelled vithout permit or inepection approval. It ehould be poin[ed out that euch improper or dangeroue inetallatione, particularly in [hie older type conetruction, is one of the leeding cauees of etructure firee in our city, eepecially in the cold weether which ie juat new appro�ching. The installation of heat producing appliances ie regulated by the Dniform Mechenical Code ae adopted by the City of Bverett. Thie Code ie adminietered by the City of Everett Building Department.
