The building is open to the public, frequented by traneients, <br /> is being vandalized and is a hazardous nuisance to inquisitive <br /> • minors. <br /> II. The building shall either be repaired in accordance with the current <br /> Building Code or demolished. <br /> IV. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance with the <br /> current Building Code, a complete application for permits shall be <br /> applied for within 60 days of this Order. Permita shall be secured <br /> and the work physically commenced within 90 day[�. All such work must <br /> be completed without the permits lapsing as ptovided by the Uniform <br /> Building Code. <br /> V. Sf the owners elect to demolish the building, all required permits <br /> shall be secured therefore within 60 days of the date of this Ocder. <br /> Such demolition must be completed within 90 duys of the date of this <br /> Order. <br /> VI. If the required repair or demolition, work is not commenced xithin <br /> the time set forth in paragraph III and IV, the Building Official ' <br /> will order the building to remain vacated and proceed to cause the <br /> building to be demolished. All expenses incurred as a result of the <br /> demolitior. of the building shall be made a personal obligation of the <br /> property owner or assesa said charge against the property, in which <br /> case the City of �erett shall ask the County Treasurer to enter the . <br /> amount of the assessme¢t upon the tax rolls against the property and <br /> collect the same with regular property taxes, with interest at such <br /> rate as provided for in RCW 84.56.020. <br /> VIZ, Any person. having any record title or legal interest in the building <br /> may appeal from this Notice and Order to the Housing Advisory and <br /> Appeals Board. Such appeal must be in as is required in the Uniform <br /> Housing Code and filed with the City of EWerett within 30 days from <br /> the date of service of this Notice and Order. Failuze to appeal will <br /> constiLute a waiver of. all right to an administrative hearing and <br /> determination uf the matter. <br /> VI:I.
