Public Works Department approval of thec:e <br /> drawinas is required prior to any permits being issued. 1►11 <br /> improvements shall be completed, approved, and warranted <br /> before the Occupancy Permit is issued. <br /> b. City streets and alleys are to be kPpt clear of dirt and <br /> debris at all times durinq construction. Dust suppression <br /> and street cleaning must occur as directed by the Public <br /> Works Inspector. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires <br /> the use of all known, available, and reasonable means of <br /> controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated <br /> during construction activities can be controlled by wetting <br /> those dust sources such as areas of exposed soils, washinq <br /> truck wheels before they leave the site, and installinq and <br /> maintaining qravel construction entrances. Construction <br /> vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. Azy evidence <br /> of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br /> Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound 1�ir Pollution <br /> Control Agency. (SEPA Air and Aesthetics Policies) <br /> c. Performance quarantees are required for street, alley, and <br /> utility improvements. <br /> d. A one-year guar�ntee is required on the public improvements <br /> and a two-year quarantee on required landscapinq for an <br /> amount not less than l0� of the cost of construction and <br /> shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the first <br /> Occupancy Permit. <br /> e. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems <br /> wi12 be required to be submitted per City design and <br /> construction standards and specification. <br /> f. Any grading or filling on this site shall be done so that the <br /> surrounding properties will not be impacted. (SEPA Earth, <br /> Land and Shoreline Policies) <br /> 2a. 1988 Uniform Fire Code requires apartments of three floors or <br /> more to be sprinklered in compliance with NFPA N13R with the <br /> basement parkinq area in compliance with NFPA /13 . The 3 <br /> story ap•srtment must have a fire alarm system complinq with <br /> Uniform Fire Code standard 14-1. (SEPA Public Services and <br /> Utilities Policies) <br /> b.
