A parking <br />front yard wbuiideeuroach into the public right-of-way. The amuunt of encroachrent <br />would depend on the type of vehicle parked. R'hile the applicant's present car is a <br />compact, it would be difficult to limit the use should the next occupant/owner wish <br />to park a camper pick-up, large car. boat, car the teenage son is rebuilding, etc. <br />The D+.unicipal Code was written to prohibit access from the street when an alley is <br />available. The reason was not only to maximize street parking, but provide for a <br />consistent street scape.
