Box 476 <br />Everett, WA 98206 <br />RE: 270' Grand Ave. <br />Dear Mr. Walsh: <br />Thank you for your letter of October 23, 1991, regarding the vacancy of the <br />building located at 2701 Grand Ave. which is owned by you, according to <br />Snohomish County records. <br />The pt.)perty is legally described as: <br />Plat of Everett, Block 622, Lot 1 <br />An inspection of the building situated on the above described property reveals <br />several deficiencies which may be deemed detrimental to the occupants or the <br />public, as defined in the Uniform Housing Code. These conditions may be <br />considered sufficient to declare the building to be substandard and/or <br />dangerous. Therefore, the building was posted "Illegal to Occupy." <br />Thank you for your cooperation in vacating the building. Since the building <br />is uninhabitable in its present condition, it shall remain vacant until such <br />time as the building is repaired in accordance with the current Building Code, <br />Electrical Code, Plumbing Code, and Mechanical Code. The building was <br />converted from a single family residence to a multi —family residence without <br />going through the necessary procedures 1e required by the Everett Zoning <br />Code. All applicable City of Everett Codes shall be met during the renovation <br />of the building and during the change of occupancy of the building. <br />Some of the deficiencies noted during the inspection of the building are noted <br />on the enclosed report.
