LNG/NEER/NG / PUBLIC NERY/CEN OEPARMFENT <br />September 1, 2009 <br />Mr, Karl Hofmann <br />Building owner(s) <br />3219 52nd PI Sw <br />Everett, WA 98203 <br />RE: New ordinance effective September 1, 2009 <br />Dear building owner(s), <br />On June 10, 2009, the Everett City Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, which regulates <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and street -level vacant commercial space in the <br />Central Business District (CBD). <br />The intent of the ordinance is to help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic development in one of the City's important retail and business centers This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in <br />an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. <br />The ordinance became effective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinanc,., is <br />enclosed with this letter.
