Notes from conference on March 21, 1985 re: Grand Olde Market
Those present: Barry Hollander
Doug Budden
Jack Frets
Sam Preston
Larry Callahan
Mr. Hollander stated that there will be no more major construction
projects in the building.
- All partitions will be 4' high on top floor within 3 - 6 months; main
floor will take longer.
- All exposed wood will be treated with intumescent paint.
- Elevator shaft needs to be separated from the building.
- Restaurant may have only one door opening into the corridor.
- Holes in wallboard will all be filled and patched.
- The restaurant will have to be separated from a woodshop by a four-
hour will.
- All. woodworking shops must be separated from corridors by one -hour
walls; doors to be self -closing; windows to be wired glass; etc.
- Mr. Preston suggested that all f1sT able debris (wood chips, etc.)
should be stored under the sidewalk or at least away from the public.
.111 tenants must be required to take out building noniits for any
changes to their spaces.
Finishing of wood -roducts was mentioned but not thoroughly discussed.
