In all cases it "stop and waste" must be put in, and so placed that it is easily accessible to the consumer, and in such a position that it will drain all the pipes. If placed outside the building it must be boxed, so that it ctul be easily reached, and so Out it C,tn be protected front frost. No bushing must be used to connect with the stopcock at the sidewalk; nipples or retracing sockets may be used if necessary. No pipe can run between the Company's service -cock and main, and in case a water ,peter is set, it(, pipe must be connected outside the meter. Plumbers may turn oil water for the purpose of testing their pipes, but they must leave it shut off tit the Company's service - cock, and in no case turn an the water for consumers. The water will not be turned oilto miv premises until the statement herein required has hecti furnished to the Company and the inspector shall certily that the work has been done in accordance with its rules and regulations.
