Partitions placed at the building adjacent to the sidewalk are deteriorated, decayed and are likely to become detached or dislodged and collapse thereby injuring persons or property. 6. There is a drop of more than six feet from the adjacent public sidewalk into the building. 7. 1'he building and surrounding premises are being used for a dumping area for trash, garbage debris. 'The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance know to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. II. The above-described building shall either be sec�red and all dangerous conditions eliminated or demolished and guardrails placed along the adjoining public sidewalk. III. If the owners elect to secure the building and eliminate all dangerous conditions, the building shall be secured within ten (10) days of this Order. IV. If the owners elect to demolish the building, all permits for demolition of the building shall be secured within ten (10) days of this Order and the work completed within 30 days of this Notice. V. If the requirements set forth in Paragraphs III and IV, above are not complied with, the City of Everett Building Official shall procced to cause the building to be de;nolished and charge the costs thereof against the property and/or its owners. VI. On May 26, 1993, at 8:30 a.m., the Building Official will submit a Resolution to the Everett City Council declaring an emergency to exist and authorizing the demolition of the building and provide protection as necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the public at the adjoining City right-of-way. The resolution will be presented in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, 98201, if this Notice and Order is not complied with.
