You will be arranging a date to clear the site with your demolition contractor and
will provide me with the date for demolition, which will be no later than June 18,
1999.
2. The existing structure and miscellaneous debris that exist on the site will be
removed, but the substantive grading, that which requires a grading permit, will
wait until the physical start of construction.
3. You will arrange to place temporary construction type chain link fencing along
Grand Avenue from the Public Market building to the south end of your property
to protect pedestrians from the drop-off onto the site. Fencing may also be
required along the southern (Hewitt Avenue) property based on potential hazard
of differences in grade. Marian Dent will inspect and approve the temporary
fencing.
4. As per agreement with the Building Official, Tim Tyler, a demolition permit will
not be required for the work described herein.
5. 1 will arrange for the police department to provide officers to clear the area of
transients before demolition begins.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any que<,tions or need additional information.
CITY OF EVERETT • 2930 Wetmore Ave., 91h Floor • Everett.
