All pipes, inside and outside, must be lair] free from traps so that they will drain when the w:tstc is open. Pipes in the ground must be laid not lets than twenty-four inches below the surface. All pipes must be run so us to avoid stoppagres and all traps must be well secured. No bushing must be used to connect with the stop -cock at the sidewalk; nipples or reducing sockets ntay he nsed if necessary. No pipe can run between the Cmnpan}'s service -cock and main, and in case a water meter is set, no pip � must be connected outside the meter. Plunthers may turn on water for the pur lose of testing their, pipes, but they must leave it shut off at the Company's service - cock, and in no case turn on the water for consumers. The water will not be turned on to am, premises until the statement herein tequired has been laruishcd to the Company and the inspector shall certih that the work has been done in accordance with its rules and regulations.
