Section 14.16.600 of the Everett Municipal Code requires the location of a fire <br />hydrant within -'�;C- feet of the property that you are requesting a building <br />permit. That ordinance applies both to new ^onstruction and existing <br />construction and would require the placement of the hydrant by those not in <br />compliance with the structure for new construction or already occupied. The <br />Everett City Council is presently reviewing Section 14.16.600 of the Everett <br />Municipal .Code and may amend that section to eliminate compliance. If the <br />Everett City Council takes no action, compliance will be required with Section <br />14.16.600 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />I HAVE READ AND HEREBY ACCEPT RECEIPT OF A COPY OF THIS LETTER <br />
