` Allan Giffen
PLANNING AND Director
z-om il/V/TY OEYELOPMENT
1/
.n.
November 8, 2012
Logan Fox
4626 Harbor Lane
Everett, WA 98203
RE: Building Permit Application for Foundation Repair and Retaining Wall
File No. B1210-026
Dear Mr. Fox,
The Planning Department reviewed the plans submitted for construction permits for the repair work and
retaining wall. We have signed off on our portion of the permit and it has been forwarded for plan
review by the Permit Services Division. Because the site contains geologically hazardous steep slopes,
the City will require recording of covenants addressing constraints on future development and use of
the property. This includes a Declaration of Covenants and Agreement.
We acknowledge the importance of the repair and stabilization work needed in order to protect your
property; consequently, we will allow time building permit review to move forward prior to the recording
of the covenant and agreement. We will place a notation on the plans that the declaration and
agreement must be recorded prior to final inspection of the repair work and retaining wall.
Please find attached the standard declaration and agreement documents applicable to development on
or near geologically hazardous steep slopes. These must be completed and submitted to the Planning
Department for review and signature prior to recording at Snohomish County Records and final
inspection by the City.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (425) 257-7155, or email, at
dtvler(@ci.everett.wa.us.
Sincerely
Dave Tyler, Planner
Cc: Heidi Davis, Permit Services Division
Enclosure
CITY OF EVERETi • 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 8-A • Everett, WA 913201 • (425) 257-8731 0 Fax (425) 257-8742
