Specifically, the applicant will replace lost wildlife habitat, water
quality functions, and slope stability functions. To achieve this, Aviv -specific goals
have been established and are listed below. .4- ra
Goal 1. Improve the overall level of wildlife habitat and functions on the site
through restoration of the disturbed buffer.
Restore the lost functions and values of removing 38 trees by planting 152
native trees throughout the impacted area.
Goal 2. Protect existing slope stability.
• Leave all existing vegetation, native or not, currently growing on the steep
slope.
• Plant only trees and shrubs identified as good to excellent for slope stability in
the Washington State Department of Ecology's Managing Vegetation of Coastal
Slopes, Plants Commonly Found on Puget Sound Shoreland Sites Table
(Appendix 1).
Limit necessary maintenance to plantings by only utilizing species that are
drought tolerant and that can compete effectively with invasive species.
Wetland Resources, Inc.
Anderson sFR • Restoration Pion
WRI N09126
