An analysis of the mitigation site condition and progress toward the stated <br />goals <br />The applicant should notify the City of Everett in writing when the monitoring period <br />is complete ;,nd the criteria for success have been met. If the project meets all of the <br />criteria for success at the end of the three-year monitoring period, no further action <br />will be required. If the definition of success is not met, the maintenance and <br />monitoring period will be extended for one year at a time until the site meets the <br />performance standards. If the success criteria are met prior to the end of the three- <br />year monitoring period, the City of Everett may allow an early termination of the <br />monitoring and maintenance at their discretion. <br />7.7 SITE PROTECTION <br />Following completion of this project, all on -site critical areas will be designated as <br />Environmentally Sensitive Areas. Critical Area signage shall be placed along the <br />boundary of the Critical Area as depicted on the attached site plan. <br />7.8 CONTINGENCY PLAN <br />If during any of the inspections, 20 percent of the planted plants are severely <br />stressed, or it appears 20 percent may not survive, additional plantings of the same <br />species or, if necessary, alternative species may be added to the planting area. If this <br />situation persists into the next inspection, a meeting with the City of Everett planner, <br />the consulting wetland specialist, and the property owner will be scheduled to decide <br />upon contingency plans. Elements of the contingency plan may include, but will not <br />be limited to: more aggressive weed control, replanting with different size plant <br />material, species substitutions, fertilization, soft amendments and/or irrigation. <br />7.9 AssuRANCE DEVICE <br />The following is an estimate of plant materials and labor only.
