At
this time they were found to be course sand with very little loam or clay and no
signs of hardpan layers. These soils were found to be undisturbed, original,
very firm and more than capable of supporting a foundation loading in the 2,000
Ib./ sq. ft. range.
During the construction excavation, the concrete sub-surtace pilasters
required soil removal to approximately seven (7) feet below existing grade.
These deeper excavatians as well as the grade beam and perimeter footings
excavations were all field inspected by the engineer and found to be consistant
with the original soil characteristics except that the deeper excavations indicated
even firmer and more capable load bearing abiliry than original determined.
4f you have any questions or require any additional information, please call
us at: (425) 252-5126 office or (425) 923-9587 cell.
Yours Truly,
l.' •
Vene L.
