Our services included providing on-site observatlon�, performinp field <br />densiry tests, and providing the necessary laboratory tests on fill samples as required for <br />foundation bearing soils and building area fill. We previously prepered the referenced <br />geotechnical engineering study for this project. <br />During greding operations, our representatives were on-site on a part-time basis. Between <br />November 29, 2000 and April 20, 2001 our representatives made e total of eleven (11) site <br />visits. During this period, sixteen (16) field density tests were conducted on sbuctural fllis. <br />Our fieid density tests were performed in accordance with ASTM Test Designation D-2922 <br />(Nuclear Gauge Methodl. One representetive soil sbmple was retumed to our laboratory for <br />maximum dry density tests in accordance with ASTM D-1557-91 (Modified Proctor�. Besed <br />on the results of our tests, the structural fill tested was adequately compacted to the <br />requirements of structural fill. <br />ECI representatives also observed the foundation bearing soils.
