The first issue is in regard to what kind of warranty CSF Treatment Systems will make as to the operation of the unit. Basically, CSFTS cumot provide a warranty with respect to levels of treatment This is primarily because the exact vole rues and pollutant characteristics of the storm water is unknown. However. I can provide testament as a professional engineer that the data presented for the systean in the BMP documents submitted to CT arc factual and representative of how the system should operate in the field. I should also point out that design engineers do not provide warrantees on the larval of treatment of conventional BMPs such as ponds or Swale. Our business is water quality vestment. Our future relies on customer service, research and development, and providing a quality product. As part of our commitment, we will provide continuing support to the person(s) providing operationa and maintenance to this facility. There are some concerns about the nature of %a pollutants being generated an the site. It is my understanding that the prtmnry runoffsurfsec is puking lot surface. Assuming that the owner provides periodic sweeping and catch basin maintenance, this facility is appropriately sized. Like any other BMP, source control will enhance the operation and longevity of the filter system. The City of Event has also provided a sett of review comments for the compost filter. Below are responses to the commL-nis that are supplemental to the BMP document we have submitted for the City's review.
