The proposed
improvement area was in the process or being rough graded at the time of our
fieldwork and was relatively level.
The proposed improvement area is bordered to the north by an approximately 40 foot
liigl southeast and southwest-facing 2H:1 V(Horizontal:Verticaq slope that e;ctends
from the edge of the site to the top of a southwest trending ridgeline tc the nurth of
tlie site. Based on information provided by tlie client, the ascending slope thai borders
tlie proposed improvement area is comprised of existing fill that was removed from a
nearby sand and gravel mining operation, Ne understand the fill previously covered
the proposed improvement area between the existing slope and the edge of the
adjacent roadways tlat border the site. We further understand that, until recer'iy, the
proposed improvement area had been covered by up to approximately 40 feet of fill
tliat had been in place for at least 6 years or more.
At the time of our site visit the ascending slopes outside the proposed improvement
area appeared to be in good condition with no apparent indications of widespread
erosion or sloughing.

1

i

At tlie time oi our field exploration, the proposed development area contained little to
no vegetation.
Larlh Consullanls, Inc.
