October 13, 1981 Building Department City of Everett 3002 Wetmore Everett, jUA 98201 RE: SEAPROP WAREHOUSE 7720 Hardeson Road Gentlemen: We are requesting that the Stop N'ork Order posted on the above referenced project be amended in order for us to proceed with the installation of the roof. We nre fully aware that there are several issues unresolved concerning the structural integrity of the building, particularly,in the area of the wall at Grid 7. Those issues deal with the soils cunditions, the tilt-up conerete panel reinforcing and the panel connections. We are asking that we be able to proceed with the instullation of the roof at this time. In our opinion, it the roof is not installed at this time the structure could incur substantial damage. The installation of the roo� will not effect those areas whieh are in question and will not inhibit our ability to make the necessary correetions. In consideration of allowing us to proceed at this time, we do hereby release, indemnify, and promise to defend and save harmless the City of Everett, its officers, employees and agents from and against any and ell liability, loss, damage, expense, actions and elaims, including costs and reasonable attorney's fees incurred by the City of Everett in defense thereof, asserting or arising directly or indirectly on aceount of or out of our acts or omission� in installing the roof or that of our servants, agents, employees and contractors in the exercise of the rights granted herein. We understand that this request only applies to the installation of the roof. The Stop �Nork Order shall remain in full force and effeet as to all other aspects of the job until such time as all of the proble ms with the above referenced projeet are resolved to the satisfaction of the City of Everett Building Department.
