These comments address building issues only, additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (si�ch as UtiliGes, Planning <br />or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1994, 2nd Edidon, unless <br />stated otherwise. <br />✓1. Exits aze required to have a minimum separation of one-half the maximum <br />diagonal of the building or area served measured in a straight line between <br />exits. Section 3303(c). This applies G� the Town and Country space. <br />✓2. Risers on stairways shall be not less than 4 inches nor excced 7 inches, and runs <br />(treads) shall be not less than 11 inches. Secdon 3306(c) <br />✓3. At least one handrail shall extend at least 12 inches beyond the top riser and 23 <br />inches beyond the bottom riser. Section 3306(I). <br />4. Provide exit signs in conformance with Section 3314. <br />✓5. Accessible doors shall have maneuvering clearances per Section 3106(j)3. 1'his <br />item applies to Town and Country doors, 8, 12 & 13. <br />V 6. A clear circular unobstnicted floor space 60 in:hes in diameter within the toilet <br />room is required. Doors may encroach into this space by not more than 12 <br />inches. Section 3106(k)2.
