October 30. 1961 <br />Fire Marshal <br />Everett Fire Department <br />2801 crakes <br />Everett, ","ashington <br />DearSir: <br />An inspection of the residence at 2121 Harrison Avenue, Everett, <br />Wash:.ngton was made October 30. 1961 and found the following conditions <br />to exist. This residence has been v cated for some time i.nd has consider- <br />able damage done to it through vandalism. <br />;1) Foundation: <br />Post anti bloc', type, and all rotten and most joists the same. <br />(2) Porches: <br />Front and rear porches, steps are all gone and floor partly <br />gone. <br />(3) Roof: <br />Cedar shingles and they are leaking all over the interior <br />of residence. <br />(4) Front door is gone and rear door still there but wide open. <br />(5) ;itclien cabinets are demoaol:ed and 4,tchan siuk and <br />plumbing is also. <br />(6) Plumbing fixtures in bathroom basin and toilet are gone and <br />water piping torn up, bathtub still there, splattered with paint. <br />(7) Windows in residence are all broken out except three (3) <br />windows, one in bedroom, one in kitchen and one in bath. <br />(8) This residence is a small three (3) room residence; kitchen, <br />living room and bedroom with bath and porch and utility room <br />6 x 2C- built on with a shad roof, to the rear of residence. <br />This residence due to the neglect of maintenance and repairs has <br />exceeded over 50,"o of the value of existing building.
