I represent the owners of the property located at 2411 Harrison in the City of Everett. Recently, it has come to our attention that the City of Everett Building Department has issued to a Kevin Dahl a demolition permit for the destruction of a structure on the property located at either 2407 or 2409 Harrison. It is my understanding that a demolition permit entitles the holder thereof to demolish the buildings described or allowed in the permit or ordinance and minor movement of the earth surface. Pursuant to inspection of the subject site in the 2400 block of Harrison, the owner of that lot has bulldozed and graded land to 2 or 3 feet below the surface which existed prior to the bulldozing. This letter is to serve as a protest and complaint by my clients, Dir. and Mrs. Clinton Terry, and a request that your deoartment inspect the premises and if the work done in the 2400 block of Harrison was beyond the scope and nature of the permit issued and ordinance to perform said demolition, that you or your department prosecute that violation within the bounds of the City of Everett ordinance and regulation. I would appreciate a response as to your findings or your department's findings in this matter.
