All City recorda indicate that the <br />atruoture ia single family reaidenee built approximately 1946. During the <br />laspection it xaa noted that struetural xork on the interior and exterior oP <br />the house had been performed and re�eareh of City files do not ahox the <br />iaauance of permits Por the work. <br />Convernion of a aingle family residence into a duplex requirea the ormer to <br />fulfill the requirement� of the City Planning Department. Any time structural <br />ohangea and plumbing changes are made to a strueture, building and plumbing <br />permits and inspactions of the work being performed are required by laW in tha <br />City of Everett. <br />The ohild� bedroom in the basement apartment does not meet Houaing Code <br />requirements, Section 801 of the Housing Code states� "every sleeping room <br />belou the fourth story ahall have at least one operable Window or exterior <br />door approved for emergeney escape or reseue."
