,(10%//•-•41 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5197 <br /> A RESOLUTION concerning the site plan and building footprint for <br /> the City Public Space in the Special Events Center <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on February 13, 2002, and meetings <br /> concerning the development and construction of the Everett Special Events Center and <br /> the inclusion of additional public space; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council President appointed a liaison committee of three Council <br /> members to work with the Pubic Facilities District on issues of mutual interest to the City <br /> of Everett and the Public Facilities District including exterior and façade treatment, <br /> incorporation of public space and related business agreements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council liaison committee and representatives of City <br /> Administration, Parks Department administration, the Public Facilities District and the <br /> project design build team have had several meetings concerning the design, size and <br /> utilization of the public space; and <br /> WHEREAS, the project design build team has developed a site plan and building foot- <br /> print for the City Public Space which are set forth on Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council liaison committee supports City Council approval of the <br /> site plan and building footprint as set forth on attached Exhibit A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Special Events Center is under construction and the Public Facilities <br /> District's Contractor has begun excavation and is preparing final foundation engineering <br /> and design; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> The site plan and building footprint for the City Public Space in the Special Event Center <br /> as set forth on attached Exhibit A are hereby approved. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 72nd DAY OF May 2002. <br /> // O <br /> / <br /> Council President <br /> Resolution public space <br />
