, <br /> //m-A- <br /> RESOLUTION NO 5188 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 2002 <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds and 2002 Action Plan to the <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing <br /> and community development programs in Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $945,000.00 in <br /> 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, unspent funds in the amount of $4,525.50 are available to reallocate to other <br /> programs this year, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has <br /> studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made <br /> its recommendations for 2002 Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the <br /> above committee, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2002 Annual Action Plan has been put together in cooperation with the <br /> Everett Housing Authority and other non profit service providers; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT THAT: <br />
